Sarah recently added to her coaching toolbox by becoming a certified NeuFit practitioner. If you're looking to speed up your muscle-building and recovery process, she can help you do just that using the Neubie—a cutting-edge direct current stimulation machine used in conjunction with customized training.
As I’m getting up there in age I was looking for a way to not fall into the “gaining weight because of menopause category and there’s nothing you can do about it”. While scrolling the internet I came across Sarah Atkinson and her company SYLL. I decided to give a nutritionist and trainer a try. It was the best decision I could’ve made at that moment. Sarah taught me the basics of macro tracking. I had heard about this before but thought it was too complicated.
Sarah made it easy to follow and before I knew it I became a pro at it. Sarah would track me on a weekly basis and make sure I was staying on track. On the bad weeks, because there will be bad weeks, she would lift me up and got me right back on track. The weight just kept falling off. To this day I’m still tracking my macros and keeping the weight off. I can’t thank Sarah enough for teaching me and guiding me through this process and for the success that I achieved.

Working with Sarah Atkinson has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and fitness. When I started, I had clear goals: lose body fat, maintain muscle, and build a healthier, more sustainable routine. Through her expert coaching and consistent support, I’ve made real progress and achieved goals I wouldn’t have been able to reach on my own.
Sarah is extremely knowledgeable about the health and fitness industry, and it shows in how thoughtfully she builds and customizes each program. The workouts are challenging but manageable, and the focus on cardio, strength, and nutrition has helped me stay energized, consistent, and confident. My sleep, energy, and recovery have all improved. If you're looking for a trainer who truly knows how to guide lasting change, Sarah is the one to work with.

I have the best experience with Sarah using the Neubie! I used to struggle to get sore and activate my shoulders properly, but not anymore!

Working with Sarah Atkinson and the NeuFit system (the Neubie) was a game-changer in my post-stroke recovery. Through the neuromuscular mapping, Sarah helped identify areas that needed the most attention, and the results have been remarkable.
Not only have I regained function and coordination, but I’ve also seen a noticeable improvement in muscle mass during training sessions. Her expertise and the NeuFit approach have truly accelerated my progress.

8 years ago I weighed 273lbs. I had gained weight every year after getting married at the age of 27. I was experiencing high blood pressure as well as some other weight related health concerns. The day things started to change for me is the day I went to the doctor to get my birth control shot and they would not give it to me because of my high blood pressure. I decided to come off birth control.
Little did I know this decision would be the start of an 8 year transformation and weight loss journey. After this doctor visit, I knew I needed to make a lifestyle change.
What I didn’t realize was how big of an impact coming off birth control would have on me. I lost 15lbs after coming off birth control and something clicked. I realized I can do this! I can lose weight and get in better shape.
After losing 15lbs I was determined to keep going. I had tracked macros before but I was not ready to dive in 100% so I tried some other methods that didn’t require tracking. I tried intermittent fasting (lost 20lbs doing this and then plateaued), keto (only lasted 2 weeks and life was miserable), intuitive eating (realized I could maintain my weight doing this but not lose weight), and eventually decided if I really wanted to get results, I was going to commit to doing macros. I had tracked macros in the past and had lost weight utilizing this method.
After losing about 35lbs through intermittent fasting and the initial weight I lost coming off birth control I decided to start tracking macros and lost 55 more pounds over the next few years. During this time I took breaks from tracking where I would eat intuitively.
I would set small goals along the way and then take some time to maintain. This gave me the opportunity to reset mentally as well as give my metabolism a little break from the calorie deficit. I was incredibly happy with my 90lbs weight loss and maintained that loss for 3 years. I was just holding steady and focusing more on my training.
2 years ago I moved to Las Vegas and decided it was time to dig a little deeper and shoot for 100lbs down! I started tracking macros again more consistently and cut back to one untracked meal a week. I can’t tell you how hard this was living in such a foodie and party town!!! I have serious FOMO (fear of missing out) and I had to do a bit of a mental reset. I love to eat out and drink wine…. I am not going to lie, I slipped up more than a few times but I never let that derail me from my goal. I hit 173lbs (100lbs down) right before New Years 2023.
After this I lost a little more weight before moving into another maintenance phase. Again, I decided to focus more on training while maintaining my weight. Fast forward January to 2024, one year after hitting 100lbs down when I decided to prepare for my first bodybuilding show! I started prep at 168lbs and hit a prep low of 147lbs bringing me to a grand total of 125lbs lost.
